Below is the list of prerequisites for the EMT Course.

These documents can be uploaded into Complio, where they will be confidentially verified. Students must complete these health requirements to complete their ride alongs. Please make plans to complete as many of these as you can before the start of your course.

  • Valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Valid passport
Basic Life Support Card
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card or Certificate
Health Insurance Coverage
  • Insurance card or proof of coverage (Can be Private, State or Federal coverage)
  • Electronic declination in Complio
Health Physical & Maskfit Test Clearance Form (downloaded from Complio)
  • Completed within the last 6 months.
Hepatitis B Vaccine
  • Vaccination record
  • Blood titer
  • Electronic declination in Complio
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
(Tdap) Vaccine
  • Vaccination record
  • Blood titer
  • Electronic declination in Complio
Measles/Mumps/Rubella
(MMR) Vaccine

Tuberculosis
  • Negative TB skin test within the last 6 months
